## Description

**Westview International Language School** is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated **Islamic Religion Teacher** for the academic year 2026-2027 to join our dynamic teaching team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive Islamic Studies lessons that promote understanding, respect, and appreciation of Islamic teachings among students.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Plan and deliver engaging and informative Islamic Religion lessons in line with the curriculum standards.
-   Encourage students to develop a deep understanding of Islamic principles, history, and culture.
-   Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to enhance learning.
-   Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse backgrounds and viewpoints.
-   Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Islamic teachings with other areas of the curriculum where appropriate.
-   Engage with parents and guardians to support students’ educational and spiritual development.
-   Participate in school events and professional development activities related to religious education.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies, Religious Education, or a related field.
-   Relevant teaching qualification or certification is preferred.
-   Experience teaching Islamic Religion at primary or secondary level is desirable.
-   Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to create a respectful and supportive learning environment.
-   Commitment to student development and fostering positive relationships with the school community.
