## Description

We are looking for a Commercial Electrician to perform hands-on electrical installation work on commercial, industrial, and municipal HVAC controls projects in a specialty controls contracting environment. This is a field-based execution role focused on installing electrical raceways, bending conduit, and supporting controls installations on active job sites. Success in this role depends on strong conduit-bending skills and solid electrical experience, while the technical aspects of controls systems can be learned on the job. AlphaHire is recruiting on behalf of a client that specializes in building automation and HVAC controls for commercial and industrial facilities throughout the Southeast.

**Responsibilities**

-   Install EMT and rigid conduit for commercial building automation and HVAC controls projects.
-   Accurately bend and install primarily 3/4-inch conduit while maintaining clean, professional workmanship.
-   Read and interpret electrical drawings and installation layouts to complete field installations.
-   Pull wire, terminate devices, and assist with electrical installation for controls systems.
-   Work alongside controls technicians and mechanical trades to complete project installations.
-   Follow all jobsite safety requirements and maintain high-quality installation standards.
-   Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in the field as they arise.
-   Maintain tools, materials, and equipment needed to support daily field operations.

## Requirements

-   3+ years of hands-on commercial electrical experience.
-   Strong proficiency bending and installing 3/4-inch EMT and rigid conduit is required.
-   Experience working in commercial, industrial, or mechanical construction environments.
-   Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and basic construction documents.
-   Controls installation or building automation experience is a plus but not required.
-   Must have hands-on field installation experience; residential-only electrical experience will not be sufficient.
-   Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to local job sites.
-   Willingness to learn HVAC controls installation and work closely with experienced controls technicians.

## Benefits

-   Compensation: **$60,000–$65,000 annually**, with flexibility for candidates who bring additional experience and technical knowledge.
