## Description

We are seeking an experienced **Software Engineer – Test Automation** with a minimum of **5 years of hands-on experience** in automation testing. The role is **purely focused on test automation activities**, with a strong emphasis on **Playwright and TypeScript**. The candidate must have strong **experience** and exposure to testing web applications built using **Node.js and React.js**.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Design, develop, and maintain **automated test scripts** using **Playwright with TypeScript**
-   Perform **end-to-end, functional, and regression automation testing**
-   Work closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and testing needs
-   Ensure comprehensive test coverage for applications developed using **Node.js and React.js**
-   Identify, document, track, and validate defects across the testing lifecycle
-   Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and testing utilities
-   Integrate automated tests with **CI/CD pipelines**
-   Adhere to quality standards, compliance requirements, and banking regulations

### Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

-   **5+ years of experience** in **Test Automation Engineering**
-   Strong hands-on experience with **Playwright and TypeScript** (mandatory)
-   Experience testing applications built on **Node.js and React.js**
-   **Mandatory banking domain expertise**
-   Strong understanding of automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and QA best practices
-   Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

### Good to Have

-   Experience with **Selenium (Java)**
-   Knowledge of **Finacle** or other core banking platforms
-   Exposure to API testing and performance testing tools
-   Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools
