## Description

A health company is seeking for creative, organized, and proactive **Social Media Contractor** to help drive engagement and elevate our social media presence across key platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and has a strong sense of current social trends, content creation, and community management.

**Key Responsibilities**

**📌 Content Creation**

-   Develop compelling visual and video content aligned with Meru Health’s brand and social strategy
-   Write engaging, on-brand captions and copy
-   Leverage current social media trends while maintaining brand alignment
-   Organize content assets (images, videos, templates) in shared folders (Google Drive, Figma, or Canva)
-   Utilize Figma (preferred) or Canva for design work
-   Stay updated on platform-specific specs, best practices, and algorithm changes
-   Pitch creative content ideas based on strategy-defined content buckets

**📌 Content Calendar & Publishing**

-   Build and present monthly content calendars for approval (Google Sheets, Asana, or Notion)
-   Schedule and publish content via Sprout Social or native platforms based on approved calendars

**📌 Community Engagement & Response**

-   Respond thoughtfully to comments and DMs across channels
-   Manage responses on Trustpilot and app store reviews (with appropriate permissions)
-   Escalate sensitive inquiries (mental health, legal, or press) to internal teams as needed

**📌 Reporting & Insights**

-   Track and compile monthly performance metrics (engagement, reach, growth, top-performing content) using Sprout Social and/or native platform tools
-   Build simple monthly reports (Google Slides) highlighting key content insights
-   Suggest content optimizations and trends to test based on performance

**📌 Community Listening**

-   Monitor and flag recurring themes, feedback, and community sentiment to the marketing and product teams
-   Utilize Sprout Social for sentiment analysis and social listening

**📌 Platforms Managed**

-   Instagram
-   Facebook (repurposed IG content)
-   TikTok
-   X (formerly Twitter - occasional content)
-   _Note: LinkedIn is managed internally and will not be part of this role_

**What We’re Looking For**

-   At least 5 years as social media content contributor and strategist
-   Proven experience managing social media for brands
-   Strong visual and copywriting skills
-   Proficiency in Figma (preferred), Canva, Sprout Social, and Google Workspace
-   Excellent organization and project management skills
-   Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate proactively
-   **Must share** your portfolio

## Requirements

**Qualifications:**

-   Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
-   Proven experience as a content creator, copywriter, or similar role.
-   Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.
-   Proficient in content management systems (CMS) and relevant digital marketing tools.
-   Experience with SEO best practices and analytics tools.
-   Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing software is preferred.
-   Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
-   Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
-   Strong creative thinking and ability to generate innovative content ideas.
