## Description

ADIC is seeking an Asset Allocation Associate Principal to join the Long-Term Asset Allocation team. Reporting to the Director of Long-Term Asset Allocation, the successful candidate will support the development and management of ADIC's long-term asset allocation framework and investment strategy.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic investment decision-making through macroeconomic research, asset allocation analysis, and portfolio construction. The successful candidate will work closely with investment teams across the organization to support the management of a globally diversified portfolio.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Contribute to the development and maintenance of long-term macroeconomic outlooks, investment scenarios, and market narratives.
-   Conduct research on secular trends and asset class developments, assessing their implications for strategic asset allocation.
-   Support the development of forward-looking return, risk, and correlation assumptions across public and private markets.
-   Assist in the design, analysis, and stress testing of strategic asset allocation frameworks and portfolio construction methodologies.
-   Prepare investment research, presentations, and memoranda, communicating insights to internal stakeholders and supporting strategic initiatives across the organization.
-   Undertake ad hoc research and quantitative analysis to support asset allocation and broader investment strategy decisions.

**Requirements**

Experience

-   Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in asset allocation, investment strategy, macroeconomic research, portfolio construction, investment consulting, or a related investment function.

Education

-   Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
-   CFA designation and/or postgraduate qualification preferred.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

-   Good understanding of macroeconomics and its implications for financial markets and investment portfolios.
-   Experience conducting independent market and investment research.
-   Understanding of expected return frameworks, asset allocation, and portfolio construction methodologies.
-   Knowledge of the key drivers of asset class returns and risks across public and private markets.
-   Quantitative analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate investment insights.
-   Familiarity with AI-enabled research tools and emerging applications of artificial intelligence within investment management is advantageous.
