### **Goodsmith is Hiring a Carpenter/Handyman!**

**Location**: Houston, TX  
**Schedule**: Full-Time  
**Employment Type**: On-Site  
**Pay Rate**: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour

### Overview

Goodsmith is seeking a dependable and skilled **Carpenter/Handyman** to support the maintenance and care of **high-end custom homes throughout the Houston area**. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and consistently delivers high-quality, detail-oriented results.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in residential maintenance and home repair, communicates professionally with homeowners, and maintains a high standard of workmanship while representing the company.

### Responsibilities

-   Perform general home repairs including drywall patching, caulking, hardware replacement, and minor carpentry.
-   Complete light to moderate interior and exterior painting projects.
-   Conduct routine home maintenance tasks such as replacing HVAC filters, light bulbs, and smoke detector batteries.
-   Perform annual home care services including pressure washing, window cleaning, and seasonal maintenance projects.
-   Communicate professionally with homeowners and office staff to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction.
-   Maintain a clean, organized workspace and represent the company with professionalism and respect.

## Requirements

-   5+ years of residential maintenance or handyman experience.
-   Skilled in general home repair and painting with strong attention to finish quality.
-   Professional appearance and strong communication skills, with respect for working in private residences.
-   Must be willing to undergo a full drug screening and FBI background check.
-   Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
