**Role Overview**

As an Accountant at ESR you are responsible for supporting the financial reporting, compliance, and day-to-day accounting activities across ESR’s ANZ portfolio. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and supports the Finance team in delivering timely reporting, insights, and adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.

-   Finance Team
-   Asset & Property Management Team
-   Development Team
-   Funds Management Team
-   External auditors and tax advisors

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journals, and reconciliations
-   Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
-   Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
-   Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes
-   Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
-   Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
-   Support audit processes and respond to auditor queries
-   Contribute to process improvements within finance operations

## Requirements

-   Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-   CA/CPA part-qualified (or working towards)
-   2–4 years’ accounting experience, ideally within property, funds, or real assets
-   Strong understanding of financial reporting principles
-   Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
-   Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
-   Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
