**About the Role**

Here at Kinisla, we're currently looking for a seasonal General Operator, to join our team in Newmarket, Co. Cork. The successful candidate will be trained on the job and gain vast manufacturing experience.

**What will I be doing?**

-   Responsible for hitting production targets daily
-   Accountable for all stock requirements, from ordering ingredients to packaging materials and stock taking
-   Forklift operation​
-   Transfer packaging as required​
-   Loading & unloading​
-   Sampling​
-   Chemical make-up and testing​
-   Quality checks​
-   Machine cleaning​
-   Accurate recording of plant running conditions on an ongoing basis​
-   Running plant’s at optimum efficiency to achieve target rates​
-   Responsible for own safety and the safety of your colleague

**What do I need to be successful?**

-   Previous manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential
-   Knowledge of the plant processes and products
-   Operate a clean as you go policy
-   Willing to learn good manufacturing practices
-   Be organized, systematic and should possess the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
-   Strong attention to detail
-   Ability to be flexible and adaptable to respond to changing demands
-   Proficient in the use of MS Office tools
-   Demonstrate teamwork and willing to be a part of a team
-   A third level qualification is desirable, but not essential
-   A Leaving Certificate qualification is required
