The Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing, qualifying, and continuously improving suppliers that provide components for our Low Voltage Switchgear / PDU product lines (e.g., metal enclosures, PCB assemblies, breakers, connectors, wiring harnesses, sensors). This role ensures suppliers meet quality, cost, delivery, and compliance expectations through structured audits, data-driven analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

**Responsibilities:**

**Supplier Compliance Management**

- Oversee incoming inspection controls and conduct supplier audits/visits.
- Implement and maintain a clearly defined, documented supplier management process.
- Manage change management activities to ensure continued compliance.

 **Performance Monitoring**

- Execute the supplier re-evaluation process.
- Develop and analyse monthly reports covering key metrics and targets.
- Analyse data from supplier NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and audits to drive performance visibility.

**Performance Improvement & Issue Resolution**

- Manage the supplier NCR system to address non-conformances.
- Lead regular supplier meetings to foster open discussion and resolve ongoing issues.

 **New Production Introduction**

- Define and manage operational requirements and workflows between the company and suppliers for new production introductions.
- Partner with Engineering, Sourcing, Operations, and Compliance teams to ensure supplier readiness for new PDUs and product line extensions.

## Requirements

- Proficiency in root cause analysis tools (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and electrical schematics.
- Excellent communication and supplier-facing negotiation skills.

**Preferred:**
