## Description

### SUMMARY

The Material Expediter will assist in the assembly, disassembling, packing and movement of products as directed. Will make deliveries, load and unload materials as directed by the Site Lead.

### ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Assemble/disassemble, rearrange, relocate and/or repair of conventual and modular type furniture.

·         Set up meeting spaces and audio visual and computer equipment.

·         Ensure items are packaged and wrapped to industry standards.

·         Hang all approved artwork in public areas and private offices, including billboards, diplomas, pictures, etc.

·         Install and repair/replace lock assemblies and keys as needed.

·         Assemble all product when it has been relocated.

·         Load and unload trucks.

·         Drive trucks 16ft and 26ft for pickup and delivery.

·         Deliver office supplies, equipment and other bulk materials as needed.

·         Operate various hand or power tools for assembly/disassembly tasks, as well as heavy machinery such as wrappers, bailers, forklifts, self-propelled jacks and manually operated equipment.

·         Provide recycling labor services which includes handling, collecting, bailing, transporting, storing and tracking receipts for recycling products associated with recycling.

·         Provide other warehouse-related labor support as needed by the CMS COR and Site Lead

·         Participates in formal training, on-the-job training, and cross-training activities.

·         Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

## Requirements

### MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

·         High School Diploma or GED required.

·         Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.

·         Must pass a drug test prior to start.

·         Experience driving a five-ton truck.

·         Experience operating a forklift.

### DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

·         Forklift certified

·         CDL holder.

·         Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier.

### TRAVEL

The expected travel time is less than 75%.

### DRIVING REQUIREMENTS

Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy.

Driving, with or without accommodation, is required when making deliveries outside the Baltimore area which includes DC and Bethesda. The expected driving time is less than 75%.

### WORK SCHEDULE

40 hours per week. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.

### PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Position consists of standing for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting boxes weighing up to 80 pounds. Frequently uses hands/fingers for handling, to work with such hand tools, wrenches, screwdrivers, wire cutters, pliers, and soldering irons. Seeing up close. ### WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed primarily in a warehouse and loading dock environment. The work area includes concrete flooring and may be drafty, noisy, dusty, and subject to varying temperatures. Employees operate warehouse equipment, hand and power tools, and powered material-handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, balers, wrappers, and similar machinery. Work may be performed in warehouse, storage, dock, and agency facility locations.

-   **Pay:** $26.34 per hour
-   Health & Welfare Fringe: $5.09 per hour up to 40 hours per week
