**Hourly Paid Lecturer – School of Audio & Music Production**

The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) is a leading creative education provider specialising in contemporary music, production, performance, and the wider creative industries. ICMP’s School of Audio & Music Production is seeking to expand its team of industry practitioners and educators to support delivery across the following programmes:

-   BA (Hons) Audio Engineering & Production
-   BA (Hons) DJ & Electronic Music Production
-   BA (Hons) Creative Music Production
-   BA (Hons) Music for TV, Film & Games
-   MA Music Production
-   MSc Audio Engineering & Technology

We are looking to build a candidate pool of passionate, experienced professionals who can bring current industry knowledge, creative practice, and technical expertise into the classroom.

We are particularly interested in candidates with specialist expertise in areas including:

-   Acoustics
-   Audio Engineering
-   Mixing 
-   Mastering 
-   Surround Sound & Immesive Audio
-   Advanced DAW Techniques
-   Electronic Music Production
-   DJ Performance
-   Synthesis and Sound Design
-   Creative Production Practices
-   Innovation and Research in Audio Production

Candidates should have excellent technical knowledge and the ability to engage and inspire students across undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will have a credible professional/industry profile, strong communication skills, and the ability to support students in developing both creative and technical skills.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate current experience within their specialist area, alongside an understanding of contemporary music production practices and workflows. Experience of working within professional studios, commercial production environments, live performance contexts, or creative media industries is highly desirable.

Experience of teaching within further or higher education is desirable, as is experience of assessment, feedback, and supporting student development. A degree in a relevant discipline is expected. Teaching qualifications and/or postgraduate qualifications are desirable but not essential.
