## Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Consultant General Surgeon to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality surgical care, employing both traditional and minimally invasive techniques, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. ### Responsibilities

-   Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients requiring general surgical interventions
-   Perform a wide array of general surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
-   Provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care to facilitate optimal recovery
-   Collaborate cross-functionally to develop individualized patient treatment plans
-   Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, risks, and postoperative care
-   Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation
-   Participate in continuing education, clinical research, and quality improvement initiatives

## Requirements

-   Medical degree (MD or equivalent) and completion of accredited General Surgery residency
-   Board certification in General Surgery required
-   Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant General Surgeon
-   Proficiency in a broad range of surgical techniques and procedures
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-   Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
-   Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
-   Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous
