Aureol Global Connections is looking for a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor Estimator specializing in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and budgets for M&E projects, ensuring that all financial aspects align with project specifications and client requirements. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to analyze project documents, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide expert advice on procurement strategies. ### Responsibilities

-   Generate comprehensive cost estimates for M&E projects based on detailed specifications and engineering drawings.
-   Conduct value engineering studies to identify cost-effective solutions while maintaining project quality.
-   Assist in the preparation of tender submissions, including Bills of Quantities and other relevant documentation.
-   Collaborate with project teams to monitor project costs and ensure adherence to established budgets.
-   Analyze subcontractor quotes and evaluate proposals to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
-   Provide guidance on contract negotiations and assist with procurement strategies for M&E works.
-   Conduct site visits to assess project progress and validate cost assumptions.
-   Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations affecting M&E construction.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
-   Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor Estimator, specifically with M&E projects.
-   Strong knowledge of M&E systems, installation practices, and relevant standards.
-   Proficient in quantity surveying software and MS Office applications.
-   Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail in cost estimation.
-   Strong communication and negotiation skills for effective collaboration.
-   Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
-   Professional membership (e.g., RICS) is an advantage but not required.
