## Description

We are seeking for a Mechanical Design Engineer well experienced and expertise in Buillding serive / high rise residential and commericial tower projects. He / She will be required to work with a team to develop the successful projects through clear strategy and proactive commitment.

## Requirements

-   Performing design calculations for optimization and compliance of applicable standards and codes.
-   Efficient review of Mechanical systems design (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Drainage, Water, LPG)
-   Ensure that purposed designs are following the latest energy efficient design criteria.
-   Propose alternative design solutions to render the projects viable and within allocated budget.
-   Provide technical assistance to concerned departments, liaison with Architect, Structural engineers, and site visits (whenever required) to support the project team.

**Specific areas of anticipated technical skills include**

-   Have a good knowledge of buildability & construction techniques.
-   Demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.
-   Strong attention to detail, team working, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
-   Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-   Proven track record in building services design with different types of sectors
-   Strong software capability and proficiency in IES, HAP, Hevacomp, AutoCAD.
-   Excellent knowledge of local and international design standards, BS-EN, CIBSE, ASHRAE, NFPA etc
-   Excellent knowledge of local statutory authorities’ regulations and submission requirements across Middle East, mainly, UAE ,Dubai

**Qualification**

-   Bachelor’s in building services / Mechanical Engineering
-   Chartered member of an internationally recognized professional body (e.g. CIBSE, ASHRAE)
-   Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Middle East
