Roofing Industries is a New Zealand manufacturer and supplier of metal roofing and cladding products, proudly supporting roofers and builders nationwide.

**About the Role**

Due to continued growth, we're looking for a Truck Driver/Production Assistant to join our Cromwell team at our brand-new, purpose-built facility. This is a varied, hands-on role **combining production work on our roll-forming machinery with local deliveries across Central Otago.**

**Responsibilities**

-   Operate roll-forming machinery and assist with manufacturing flashings and roofing accessories
-   Deliver roofing materials to customers across Central Otago, including loading and unloading trucks
-   Process inwards goods and manage incoming stock
-   Pick and pack customer orders accurately
-   Use a forklift (and Hiab/overhead gantry crane where required) for safe material handling
-   Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area
-   Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures
-   Work effectively as part of a small, supportive team

**Requirements**

-   Current Class 4 driver licence
-   Current forklift licence
-   Previous experience with a Hiab and/or overhead gantry crane (advantageous)
-   Previous production or manufacturing experience (advantageous)
-   Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
-   Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
-   Reliable, punctual, and willing to put in hard graft
-   A valid work visa or the right to work in New Zealand
-   Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
