## Description

**About Us**

HireHawk builds high-performing remote teams for U.S. and Canadian companies, connecting skilled professionals worldwide with meaningful, long-term work. We’re outcomes-first, detail-obsessed, and we hire people who take ownership—because our clients’ cases and timelines depend on it.

**About the Role**

You’ll provide hands-on outpatient orthopedic treatment in a full-time, direct-hire position at our Santa Ana clinic. During each approximately one-hour appointment, you’ll work one-on-one with the patient for the first 30 minutes, followed by aide support for the remainder of the visit. This opportunity is built for a PTA who actively uses manual therapy in clinical practice and wants it to remain a core part of their work, not an occasional add-on.

- **Monthly Salary (USD):** Approximately **$5,833–$7,083/month**

**Schedule**

- Monday-Friday, with no weekend shifts.
- Eight working hours plus a one-hour lunch, typically 7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
- Depending on the assigned schedule, shifts may start as early as 7:00 AM or end as late as 6:00 PM. All hours are Pacific Time.

**Responsibilities**

- Deliver hands-on manual therapy as a central component of outpatient orthopedic treatment.
- Make each patient’s first 30 minutes a focused, one-on-one treatment experience.
- Build patient trust through attentive communication and a comfortable, supportive approach to hands-on care.
- Coordinate with aides to support a smooth transition through the remainder of each patient’s visit.
- Maintain clear treatment documentation using the clinic’s EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
- Learn and apply new clinic technologies and workflows while keeping patient care at the center of your work.

## Requirements

**Must-Have:**

- An active California Physical Therapist Assistant license.
- Recent, ongoing hands-on manual therapy experience from actual clinical practice. Outdated experience, school-only experience, or manual therapy experience limited to skilled nursing facilities or home health does not qualify.
- Clinical competence in manual therapy and comfort providing one-on-one, hands-on treatment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-focused approach to communication.
- Comfort learning and adapting to the clinic’s EMR, AI-assisted documentation tools, and workflows.
- Availability to work full-time, on-site in Santa Ana during the weekday schedule outlined above.

**Nice to Have:**

- Outpatient orthopedic experience is strongly preferred.

## Benefits

- Six paid holidays.
- Approximately $1,000 per year in continuing education support.
- A 401(k) retirement plan.
- PTA license and CPR renewal reimbursement.
- A productivity bonus in addition to base compensation.
