This position will serve as a strategic partner to leadership by proactively identifying operational inefficiencies, recommending improvements, and implementing processes that enhance profitability, scalability, and decision-making across the business..

- Providing financial insight and recommendations that support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Partnering with department leaders to improve performance, profitability, and accountability.
- Ensuring compliance with all financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Building scalable financial processes to support continued growth.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing accounting team members.

### Required Experience

- Significant accounting and finance leadership experience.
- Experience within a construction, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, facilities services, specialty contracting, or other project-based business environment.
- Strong understanding of job costing, project accounting, WIP schedules, percentage-of-completion accounting, revenue recognition, and project profitability analysis.
- Demonstrated success managing financial operations for a growing small-to-mid-sized organization.
- Experience developing processes and improving financial visibility across the business.
- Strong financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and cash management expertise.
- Experience leading and developing accounting teams.

### What Will Set Candidates Apart

- Experience in construction and skilled trades organizations during periods of growth and operational expansion.
- Quantifiable accomplishments and measurable business impact.
- Examples of solving complex challenges with minimal supervision.
- A track record of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Strong references who can speak to performance, reliability, and leadership.

For the right candidate, this is an opportunity to make a measurable impact within a company that values strong financial leadership and practical business insight.
