### **CNC Programmer/Estimator**

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated **CNC Programmer** to join our Processing Department. This role is ideal for someone looking to further develop their career within the steel distribution and processing industry. Working with a high degree of autonomy, the successful applicant will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build positive working relationships with both customers and colleagues.

**Key Responsibilities**

Following appropriate training, your responsibilities will include:

-   Interpreting customer enquiries, engineering drawings, and written specifications.
-   Programming jobs accurately and efficiently using **DIS2 (Daito Beamline & Coping Robot)** software.
-   Liaising with customers and production operators via phone and email while delivering exceptional customer service.
-   Supporting the efficient flow of production by ensuring jobs are programmed accurately and on time.
-   Contributing to smooth, safe, and cost-effective production outcomes.

**Working arrangements:** Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (Onsite)

You will have excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

**Skills & Experience**

The following skills and experience are desirable:

-   Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
-   Experience within the steel processing or structural steel industry.
-   Estimating experience.
-   Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
-   Strong problem-solving skills with a solutions-focused approach.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Please note, this is an _office-based role._
