## Description

Kody is an innovative fintech company expanding rapidly across multiple jurisdictions. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel / Legal Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic legal advice, manage regulatory compliance, and support the company’s growth initiatives by mitigating legal risks.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of commercial agreements, regulatory matters, and corporate governance issues.
-   Lead and manage relationships with external legal advisers and regulators.
-   Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations across key markets including Hong Kong and the UK.
-   Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents critical to business operations.
-   Support product development by advising on regulatory risks and legal requirements.
-   Manage legal risks and develop policies to promote legal and regulatory compliance within the organisation.
-   Oversee dispute resolution and manage any legal proceedings as necessary.

## Requirements

**Requirements:**

-   Qualified lawyer with admission to practice in Hong Kong, the UK, or equivalent jurisdiction.
-   3+ years of legal experience, preferably within fintech, financial services, or technology sectors.
-   Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks applicable to fintech and payments in Hong Kong and the UK.
-   Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
-   Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
-   Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-   High ethical standards and professional integrity.
