## Description

**We're growing fast. Your job would be to make sure the hiring process doesn't become the thing that slows us down.**

Minerva Defence is one of the fastest-growing defence technology companies in Europe. We create the software, hardware and networking that make unmanned systems effective on the modern battlefield, all ideated, designed and manufactured end-to-end in the UK and in active use today. We are deliberately low-profile: a team of around 60, small in headcount and outsized in effect. We look for people who are not just talented but genuinely committed to the work, the team, and the purpose behind it.

You'll be assisting with every role and every stage, split between the London software team and the engineering and production people on-site in the West Midlands. You'll be working with lots of different sets of diaries. Interviewers cancel, candidates go quiet, someone is on the shop floor and not looking at Outlook. Getting a panel in the diary this week instead of next usually decides whether we get someone. Once a hire is agreed you pick up the offer, generating the contract from our templates and seeing it through to signature. It needs someone who checks the detail, because getting it wrong matters. The part we are most interested in is candidate experience. We do not measure it today and we would like to, so you would build the pulse surveys, automate them so nobody has to remember to send them, and act on what comes back. Whatever is left goes on helping the People team, including keeping the London office somewhere people want to be.

**Responsibilities**

- Schedule interviews across all open roles and all stages, working around interviewer diaries

- Prepare offer paperwork from our automated templates and get it out quickly

- Chase the internal approvals a hire needs, through to signed contract

- Build and automate pulse surveys for candidates and hiring managers, and turn what they say into specific process changes

- Keep the ATS accurate so pipeline reporting can be trusted

- Support the wider People team on projects such as onboarding and HR systems

- Help the wider People team run the central London office

## Requirements

**Minimum:**

- Experience coordinating interviews or managing complex multi-person diaries at volume

- Experience working day to day in an applicant tracking system

- Experience handling confidential personal data accurately, such as offer or employee records

- Able to build a survey or a simple automation yourself in everyday tools

- Eligible for UK SC clearance (UK citizen or 5+ years UK residency)

- Able to work from our central London office at least three days a week

**Preferred:**

- Experience in a company hiring quickly across engineering and production

- Familiarity with an ATS such as Workable, Greenhouse or Lever

- Familiarity with UK employment paperwork and right to work checks

- Experience in a security-cleared or otherwise regulated environment

## Benefits

The job is demanding enough, so we try to take the everyday pressures off your plate. The benefits are built around that, starting with a genuine stake in what we are building.

- Share options vesting over three years, so you own a real piece of it
- Bupa private health, fully funded from day one
