## Description

Could you be Incommunities new **Fire and Building Safety Project Officer**? This is a vital support role, providing technical, administrative and project coordination to help ensure fire and building safety compliance across our organisation. You'll play a key part in maintaining accurate compliance records, supporting the delivery of safety projects and coordinating with stakeholders and contractors.

**Duties include:**

-   Support reporting across fire and building safety projects and maintenance programmes, ensuring information is accurate and deadlines are met.
-   Assist the Fire Safety Lead and wider team with planning, monitoring and reporting activities.
-   Maintain compliance records, trackers and systems to ensure data is complete, current and audit ready.
-   Support the organisation of access arrangements and the coordination of actions arising from fire risk assessments and inspections.
-   Provide financial administration support for contractors and projects, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and within required timescales.
-   Support the maintenance of policies, procedures and documentation within the fire and building safety service.
-   Monitor key performance indicators and update compliance management systems with accurate fire and building safety information.
-   Collate and present progress information and reports for the Fire Safety Lead and Building Safety Lead.
-   Organise and prioritise multiple tasks, projects and programmes in a structured and methodical way within a fast-paced environment.

## Requirements

-   Knowledge of property compliance, with a good knowledge of fire safety processes, compliance systems (for example C365, Risk hub and Asprey), spreadsheets and reporting tools.
-   Experience of compliance administration, data management or project support within social housing, property compliance or a similar regulated environment.
-   Knowledge of statutory, regulatory and performance requirements relating to property compliance and fire safety.
-   Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and meet competing deadlines.
-   Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, contractors and partners.
-   Ability to analyse data and present information clearly and accurately.
-   Confident using Microsoft Office and compliance management systems.
-   2-3 days per week in the office (BD17 7BN).
-   Driving licence with own vehicle or willing to take public transport to attend site visits across the Bradford district.
