## Description

Fuse Energy is a forward-thinking renewable energy startup on a mission to deliver a terawatt of renewable energy - fast. We're combining first-principles thinking with cutting-edge technology to build a radically better energy system. We raised $170M from top-tier investors including Multicoin, Balderton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Lowercarbon, Ribbit, Box Group and strategic angels like Nico Rosberg, the Co-Founder of Solana and GPs behind Meta, Revolut, Spotify, Uber and more.

We’re creating a fully integrated energy company: from developing solar, wind and hydrogen projects to real-time power trading and distributed energy installations. By selling directly to consumers, we cut out the middleman, lower costs and pass on savings to customers.

We're looking for a Supply Chain Lead to drive our Chinese Expansion. As our founding team member in the market, you will work closely with both of the co-founders to launch and manage our local operations. We are looking for an exceptional, first-principles operator with a relentless approach to business and deep technical acumen. You will drive our regional expansion, architect our extensive supplier and purchasing footprint, and directly negotiate with top-tier OEMs, ODMs, and critical hardware manufacturers across the entire clean energy ecosystem to secure our global supply chain.

### Responsibilities

- Partner closely with the co-founders, finance and R&D team to launch, lead, and manage our local supply chain and operations in China, ensuring smooth regional execution and integration with our global business.
- Develop and manage our strategic supplier and purchasing footprint in China, securing critical factory capacity and driving BOM optimisation with top-tier partners.
- Drive hands-on quality enforcement and performance tracking across multiple external factories, deeply auditing partner production lines.
- Serve as the critical, real-time communication interface between Chinese technical and manufacturing ecosystems and our UK teams to ensure seamless product and project integration.

## Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM discipline from a top-tier university
- Proven track record in procurement, sourcing, or supplier quality within the clean-tech ecosystem or a parallel technical hardware industry (e.g., electric vehicles, advanced electronics, semiconductors)
- Strong understanding across both electrical and mechanical components, specifically PCBAs, power electronics, or battery packs/systems
- Experience driving localised New Product Introduction (NPI) cycles from concept to mass production, with a strong, practical understanding of the RFQ process
- Ability to enforce stringent quality standards, and consistently deliver under compressed timelines
- A relentless, first-principles approach to solving ambiguous problems
- Written and verbal fluency in both English and Mandarin
- Ability to work well individually or in a team

## Benefits

- Competitive salary and an equity sign-on bonus
- Biannual bonus scheme
- Fully expensed tech to match your needs
- Paid annual leave
- Breakfast and dinner allowance for office based employees
