## Description

Hatzi Filax Group, on behalf of its client, is looking for a **Software Developer** to maintain, support, and enhance the company's back-office system and its associated peripheral systems.

The position reports to the IT Manager and we are looking for someone who can work confidently within a complex ecosystem of legacy and modern applications, supporting daily business operations, third-party integrations, and automated processes.

The successful candidate will work on a system that includes:

-   MS SQL Server (triggers, stored procedures, functions, data processing)
-   Back-office applications (C#, VB.NET, WinForms, ASP.NET Core website)
-   Batch processing and automation tools
-   Integrations and backend business logic

**Indicative Responsibilities**

-   Maintain and develop applications within the back-office ecosystem
-   Debug and resolve production issues
-   Analyze requirements and implement new features
-   Manage and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database processes
-   Develop and support integrations (web services, APIs)
-   Participate in deployments and scheduled operational processes
-   Collaborate closely with business and IT teams to promptly resolve issues

## Requirements

The ideal candidate would possess:

-   At least 5 years of experience in software development
-   Strong knowledge of VB6 (legacy WinForms applications), VB.NET, C#, MS SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, functions), and ASP.NET Core web applications
-   Understanding of batch processing and scheduled jobs
-   Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in complex environments
-   Experience with Git and version control systems

**Nice to have**

-   Experience with third-party system integrations
-   Knowledge of web services (SOAP / REST)
-   Experience with enterprise data flows
-   Knowledge of insurance, ERP, or accounting system
