We are seeking an experienced **Java Tech Lead** to lead a high-performing engineering team in designing, developing, and delivering scalable enterprise applications. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in **Java, Spring Boot, Microservices**, and modern backend technologies, combined with proven experience leading development teams and driving technical excellence.

As a Java Tech Lead, you will be responsible for guiding the development lifecycle, mentoring engineers, reviewing architecture and code quality, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to build secure, high-performance applications. You will play a key role in delivering scalable solutions, promoting engineering best practices, and ensuring successful project execution in an Agile environment.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

-   Lead and mentor a team of Java developers, fostering technical excellence and continuous learning.
-   Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
-   Build and optimize RESTful APIs to support high-performance, distributed systems.
-   Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
-   Perform code reviews, enforce development standards, and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
-   Integrate messaging platforms such as Kafka to support event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing.
-   Support CI/CD implementation using tools such as Jenkins to streamline development and deployment workflows.
-   Work with MongoDB and SQL databases to design efficient data models and optimize application performance.
-   Guide the team in resolving technical challenges, troubleshooting production issues, and improving system reliability.
-   Drive Agile delivery by participating in sprint planning, technical discussions, estimations, and release planning.

### What Makes You a Great Fit

-   8+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in a Technical Lead or Team Lead role.
-   Strong hands-on expertise in **Java**, **Spring Boot**, and **Microservices** architecture.
-   Solid experience designing and developing REST APIs for enterprise applications.
-   Experience working with **ReactJS**, **MongoDB**, SQL databases, and **Kafka**.
-   Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as **Jenkins**.
-   Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies and software engineering best practices.
-   Proven experience conducting code reviews, mentoring developers, and driving technical quality.
-   Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
-   Ability to lead cross-functional teams while balancing technical delivery and business priorities.
-   Experience in the **Financial Services** domain will be an added advantage.
