## Description

**Mar-Bella Collection**: A family-owned group of four award winning five-star luxury hotels, dotted around the Ionian Sea in Greece & curated to suit the ever-changing needs of guests across different stages of their life. The iconic **MarBella**, perfect for families and multi-generational groups, the adults-only **Nido**, a Small Luxury Hotel of the World, and **Avali**, the latest addition to the Mar-Bella Collection portfolio are located on the island of Corfu. **Elix** is on the Ionian coast of mainland Greece and lays in a stunning location above Karavostasi beach between Parga and Syvota.

Mar-Bella Collection is looking for a passionate **Pastry Trainee** to join our team for **2026** in **Corfu**

-   Assist the Pastry Team in preparing and baking desserts, pastries, breads, and other baked goods.
-   Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency in quality and taste.
-   Prepare ingredients and equipment for daily service, including scaling, measuring, and mixing.
-   Ensure the kitchen and workstations are clean and well-maintained, following health and safety regulations.
-   Assist with inventory control and stock rotation to maintain freshness of products.
-   Learn and apply the techniques used by the Pastry Chef to contribute to the creativity and innovation of new desserts.
-   Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely preparation.
-   Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.

## Requirements

-   Basic understanding of pastry techniques and baking processes.
-   Ability to follow detailed instructions and work within a fast-paced environment.
-   Strong attention to detail and a passion for pastry arts.
-   Creative and eager to learn new skills.
-   Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
-   A positive attitude with a willingness to take initiative.
-   A diploma or certificate in pastry arts or culinary studies is advantageous.
