### Technical Manager

**Location:** Roundwood, Co. Wicklow / Bray, Co. Wicklow (Hybrid)  
**Travel:** Occasional travel to project sites across Ireland and Europe

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to join our expanding team.

### The Role

As Technical Manager, you will provide technical leadership across multiple projects, ensuring designs are compliant, coordinated and delivered to the highest quality standards. Working closely with Design, Pre-Construction, Commercial and Project Delivery teams, you will support projects from tender through to completion while maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Lead the technical delivery of roofing, cladding and façade projects.
-   Review drawings, specifications and contract documentation to ensure technical compliance.
-   Manage design coordination between architects, consultants, clients and specialist subcontractors.
-   Identify technical risks and develop practical engineering solutions.
-   Support the pre-construction team during tender and value engineering stages.
-   Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations, industry standards and client requirements.
-   Manage technical queries, RFIs and design changes throughout the project lifecycle.
-   Work closely with project teams to resolve technical issues during construction.
-   Drive continuous improvement in technical processes, systems and standards.
-   Mentor and support members of the technical and design teams.

## Requirements

-   Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related discipline.
-   Significant experience in a Technical Manager, Design Manager or Senior Technical role within construction.
-   Strong knowledge of roofing, cladding, façades or the wider building envelope sector.
-   Experience working on large commercial, industrial or data centre projects.
-   Excellent understanding of construction detailing, specifications and design coordination.
-   Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
-   Commercially aware with excellent problem-solving abilities.
-   Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience using BIM and common design software considered advantageous.
