## Description

**POSITION SUMMARY:**

Focus Interpreting is looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Translator for written documents for English-Mixteco. As a translator, you will play a crucial role in accurately translating written content from English to Mixteco and vice versa, ensuring clarity and cultural relevance.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

-   Translate written documents, including but not limited to legal documents, medical records, educational materials, and more, from English to Mixteco and vice versa.
-   Ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural sensitivity in all translations.
-   Conduct research when necessary to guarantee the correct translation of specialized terms.
-   Collaborate with proofreaders and editors to refine translated content.

**REQUIREMENTS:**

-   Fluency in both English and Mixteco languages.
-   Proven experience in translation, particularly in legal, medical, or technical fields.
-   Excellent knowledge of linguistic structures and grammar in both languages.
-   Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
