## Description

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers is committed to nurture, inspire, and support every child and family who walks through our doors — “When you're at Heartfelt, you're at home.” We're launching a brand-new Parent & Tot class series at our Lake Orion center, and we're looking for a warm, energetic instructor to bring it to life.

In this part-time role, you'll lead Tiny Hearts (ages 1–2) and Curious Hearts (ages 3–4) — two 45-minute, once-a-week classes where children and their parent or caregiver learn and play together — plus a cozy 20-minute virtual New Mom & Infant class each week for families with newborns. All classes are built on the HighScope curriculum, the same hands-on, active-learning approach used across every Heartfelt classroom.

**What you'll do**:

- Plan and lead weekly Tiny Hearts and Curious Hearts classes (45 min each, one day a week per class)

- Host a weekly 20-minute virtual New Mom & Infant class via Zoom

- Create simple, hands-on activities — sensory play, music and movement, stories, and art — parents and children enjoy together

- Welcome new families warmly and help them feel at home, whether or not they're already enrolled at Heartfelt

- Set up and tidy the classroom space before and after class, and keep track of attendance and supplies

**Position detail**:

- Part-time, approximately 3 - 4 hours per week (two 45-minute classes plus one virtual, includes light prep/set up

- Reliable weekly availability (schedule confirmed at offer)

- Able to pass a background check per Michigan childcare licensing requirements

**Preferred**:

- Familiarity with the High Scope curriculum or a similar active-learning approach

- Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field

- CDA credential and/or current CPR/First Aid certification
