## Description

We are looking for an experienced **Senior DevOps Engineer** to join our Technology Engineering team and support Agile delivery teams by designing, implementing, and managing modern DevOps platforms, automation frameworks, and cloud-native solutions.

The role requires strong hands-on expertise in **Container Technologies, Kubernetes/OpenShift, CI/CD automation, GitOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud platforms, monitoring solutions, and DevSecOps integration**.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable application delivery platforms, enabling automation, improving engineering practices, and supporting high-availability enterprise environments.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

### DevOps Engineering & Platform Automation

-   Design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade **CI/CD pipelines** for application deployments across container platforms including **Native Kubernetes and OpenShift**.
-   Develop and maintain automation frameworks for continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous delivery.
-   Implement DevOps best practices across Agile delivery squads.
-   Automate deployment, configuration management, and operational processes to ensure consistent, scalable, and reliable environments.
-   Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and application-related issues in collaboration with development and operations teams.

### CI/CD & DevOps Tooling

-   Strong hands-on experience with **Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines**, including:

-   Pipeline development
-   Shared Libraries
-   Pipeline-as-Code
-   Groovy scripting
-   Automation workflows

-   Practical experience with **GitHub Actions** for workflow automation.
-   Experience integrating DevOps and DevSecOps tools into CI/CD pipelines including:

-   GitHub
-   Jenkins
-   SonarQube
-   Checkmarx
-   Sysdig
-   Nexus / Nexus IQ
-   Cosign

-   Understanding of secure software delivery practices and pipeline automation.

### Container Platforms & Cloud Native Technologies

-   Strong experience working with:

-   Kubernetes
-   OpenShift
-   Container orchestration platforms

-   Experience managing application deployments in cloud-native environments.
-   Hands-on knowledge of **Service Mesh technologies**.
-   Understanding of microservices architecture, deployment patterns, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
-   Knowledge of API communication standards including:

-   REST APIs
-   SOAP APIs
-   API consumer/publisher development concepts

-   Good understanding of **OAuth 2.0 authentication standards**.

### GitOps & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

-   Experience with GitOps practices and tools such as **ArgoCD**.
-   Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools including:

-   Terraform
-   Ansible
-   Bicep (preferred)

-   Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
-   Experience managing cloud infrastructure components including:

-   Compute
-   Storage
-   Networking

### Cloud Platforms

Experience working with one or more public cloud platforms:

-   Microsoft Azure
-   Amazon Web Services (AWS)
-   Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

Understanding of cloud architecture, deployment models, and cloud-native engineering practices.

### Monitoring, Logging & Observability

Strong understanding and hands-on experience with monitoring and logging solutions:

-   ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
-   Prometheus
-   Grafana

Experience implementing observability practices for applications and infrastructure.

### DevOps / SRE Responsibilities

-   Apply DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure as Code, and **12-factor application principles**.
-   Support projects from design and development through deployment and operational support.
-   Participate in incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
-   Work closely with engineering, security, infrastructure, and application teams.
-   Drive adoption of automation and engineering best practices.

### Required Skills & Experience

### Mandatory Technical Skills

-   3–5 years of total experience in engineering, DevOps, cloud, or operations roles.
-   Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar DevOps / Platform Engineering role.
-   Strong hands-on experience with:

-   Kubernetes
-   OpenShift
-   CI/CD pipelines
-   Jenkins
-   GitHub Actions
-   GitOps / ArgoCD
-   Terraform
-   Ansible
-   Service Mesh
-   ELK
-   Prometheus

### Additional Technical Requirements

-   Experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, architecture, and cloud computing.
-   Strong understanding of:

-   DevOps methodologies
-   DevSecOps practices
-   SRE principles
-   Cloud-native technologies

-   Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
-   Knowledge of API integrations and authentication mechanisms.
-   Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for production environments.

### Education

-   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.

### Preferred Background

-   Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with:

-   High availability systems
-   High transaction volumes
-   Distributed applications
-   Geographically distributed platforms

-   Experience in regulated industries such as banking, financial services, telecom, or large enterprises is preferred.
