 We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team on a large-scale data centre project in Dublin, Ireland. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the design coordination, installation, commissioning, and delivery of electrical systems while providing technical leadership to project teams and subcontractors.

 The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical/power generation environments and experience with electrical distribution systems(MV/LV), Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems, and bringing projects from L1-L5 completion, Beneficial experience includes: Control systems, automation, Building Management Systems (BMS), PLCs, SCADA, or EPMS. **Responsibilities:**

-   Ensure all works are executed in full compliance with the Winthrop Integrated Management System.
-   Lead the coordination, review, and management of electrical design drawings and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
-   Provide technical leadership and guidance to electrical engineers, subcontractors, and project teams.
-   Review and approve technical submittals, RFIs, method statements, and commissioning documentation.
-   Plan, prioritise, and allocate work within the engineering team to ensure project milestones are achieved.
-   Coordinate electrical interfaces with mechanical, CSA, controls, and commissioning teams.
-   Lead the delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.

-   Application of technical knowledge in validation of automation system from a process perspective – eg Validation of sequence of operations.

-   Identify technical issues, apply effective troubleshooting techniques, and implement corrective actions to minimise programme impacts.
-   Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.
-   Oversee document control processes, ensuring drawings, technical submissions, commissioning records, and project logs remain accurate and up to date.
-   Prepare and review commissioning documentation, handover packs, and final project records.
-   Support value engineering initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement throughout project delivery.
-   Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project stakeholders.
-   Drive compliance and governance across all project activities, promoting safe working practices and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and site housekeeping.
-   Complete and submit weekly "Don't Walk By" safety observation cards.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
-   **Minimum 6+ years' experience** as an Electrical Engineer, with experience leading electrical packages on large-scale construction projects.
-   Previous experience within **data centres/power generation applications**.
-   Experience within pharmaceutical, semiconductor, industrial, or other mission-critical environments will also be considered
-   Strong understanding of electrical commissioning processes and system integration.
-   Strong technical knowledge of electrical power systems, distribution, installation, commissioning, and Design & Build environments.
-   A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
-   Demonstrated ability to lead subcontractors and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
-   Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
-   Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
-   Beneficial Experience with electrical control systems, BMS, EPMS, PLCs, SCADA, or automation systems is highly desirable.
-   Design/Validation of MV controls systems including interlocking/protection strategies.
-   Experience working with Goose Networking/IEC61850 protocols.
-   Hands-on commissioning experience on electrical equipment. (MV/LV/UPS/GEN).
