We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Records Clerk to join our team within the Health, Wellness, and Fitness industry. The Records Clerk will play an essential role in maintaining accurate, confidential, and well-organized health records to support the efficient operation of our service delivery. ### Responsibilities

-   Accurately maintain and update patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
-   Organize, file, and retrieve medical records and related documents promptly upon request.
-   Coordinate with healthcare staff to ensure records are complete and properly documented.
-   Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation required for internal and external use.
-   Manage the input and verification of patient data into electronic health record systems.
-   Respond to inquiries regarding records from authorized personnel and patients.
-   Support quality assurance efforts by auditing record accuracy and completeness regularly.
-   Assist in scanning, indexing, and archiving physical and electronic documents.
-   Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and company policies related to health records.

## Requirements

-   High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in medical records or health information preferred.
-   Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical documentation.
-   Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and filing skills.
-   Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols.
-   Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
-   Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and data entry accuracy.
-   Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with healthcare providers and administrative staff.
-   Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
-   Prior experience in a healthcare, wellness, or fitness-related setting is a plus.
