**Position Overview:**

Join our behavioral health team in Syracuse as a **Mental Health Therapy Aide** supporting evening-shift operations. This role is critical in providing therapeutic assistance and maintaining a safe environment for patients in psychiatric and behavioral health settings.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Provide direct therapeutic support and crisis intervention
-   Monitor patient safety and behavior during evening shifts
-   Assist with group activities and daily therapeutic programs
-   Document patient interactions and report changes to clinical staff
-   Maintain a therapeutic environment consistent with facility protocols

## Requirements

**Qualifications:**

-   **Education:** High School Diploma or GED
-   **Certification/Licenses:** Current CPR certification is required
-   **Experience:**

-   Minimum 1 year in mental health settings
-   Direct psychiatric/behavioral health experience required

-   **Soft Skills:**

-   Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
-   Proven collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams
