€75,000–€80,000 per year | Permanent, full-time | 32 hours across four days | On-site in Dublin 12

Select Ambition is partnering with a confidential, established accountancy practice in Dublin 12 to appoint a Senior Practice Accountant.

The firm has a varied client portfolio and a team comprising three qualified accountants and two trainee accountants. This broad senior-practice role combines accounts preparation, audit, taxation compliance and general practice assignments.

You will prepare statutory accounts and manage audit assignments through to partner review, complete income tax and corporation tax compliance work, and handle general practice and ad hoc client assignments.

You will also supervise and support trainee staff, review their work, meet clients directly and maintain effective professional relationships.

## Requirements

Essential

\- ACA, ACCA, CPA or an equivalent recognised professional accountancy qualification.

\- At least five years’ accountancy-practice experience in Ireland or the UK.

\- At least three years’ post-qualification experience.

\- Practical experience preparing statutory accounts.

\- Practical statutory audit experience.

\- Practical income tax experience.

\- Practical corporation tax experience.

\- Ability to manage assignments accurately through to partner review.

\- Experience supervising and supporting trainee staff.

\- Strong client-facing communication skills.

\- Fluent written and spoken English.

\- Good organisation and ability to use initiative.

\- Availability for permanent, on-site work in Dublin 12 for 32 hours across four days.
