## Description

**BCBA Center Based**

**Location of Service: Onsite Center Based Services**

**Hours: Monday Through Friday 8-3:30 PM(Year round)**

**Start Date: Immediate Opening**

**ABOUT DRAGONFLY CARES**

Dragonfly Cares is a mission-driven organization dedicated to helping children with autism and developmental differences thrive. We deliver high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy where it matters most: in homes, centers, schools, and communities across Long Island. Our team of compassionate professionals are united by one goal: meaningful progress for every child and family we serve.

**POSITION OVERVIEW**

The Lead BCBA, Melville, is a licensed and BACB-certified behavior analyst whose day-to-day presence anchors the Melville center's daytime clinical operation; blending direct clinical practice, supervision, center oversight, and, as the role matures, primary center-based coordination of the Melville Bridge program. You'll carry a direct billable caseload while serving as a senior daytime clinical presence, providing live support to Behavior Technicians, ensuring sessions run with fidelity, and safeguarding the quality of care for every client on center-based Melville services.

You'll work in close daily partnership with a fellow Lead BCBA, Melville, report clinically to the Clinical Director, and report operationally to the COO. Over time, you'll become the primary center-based point of continuity for Bridge students transitioning into the Melville center; collaborating with the School Clinical Director on referral, intake, and enrollment, ensuring students are supported clinically and operationally upon arrival, and holding a real-time pulse on how the daytime side of the center is running.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**

- Maintain and supervise a direct billable caseload, designing, monitoring, and revising behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs
- Provide live, in-session clinical support to Behavior Technicians during Melville daytime hours, ensuring sessions run with fidelity
- Schedule and deliver RBT/BT supervision hours per Dragonfly's supervision standards
- Serve as the senior daytime clinical presence on-site, opening the center on assigned days and holding a real-time pulse on daily operations
- Grow into the primary center-based coordinator role for Melville Bridge students — partnering on referral, intake, enrollment, and continuity of care as students transition from school-based to center-based services
- Attend CSE meetings, IEP reviews, and transition meetings for Bridge students as appropriate
- Respond to behavioral crises using CPI-consistent de-escalation and safety procedures
- Conduct a formal monthly check-in with each direct-caseload family and manage day-to-day parent communication
- Maintain all clinical documentation (session notes, treatment plans, BIPs, supervision notes) in Passage Health and ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Other Misc. Duties assigned

## Requirements
