Lovey HR and Recruitment Advisor - Permanent - Full-time 5 days per week - Birmingham City Centre - Office Based - £28,000 - £35000

About You as a HR and Recruitment Advisor:  

The HR and Recruitment Advisor will play a key role in supporting all aspects of human resources operations. This individual will always act with integrity, honesty and champion a diverse and positive workplace in order retain talent, while maintaining efficient HR processes. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced regulated environment.

## Requirements

HR Advisor:  Onboarding: 

-   Compile offer letters and contracts to be sent out to prospective hires.  

-   Support as required with onboarding documents related to new starters and ensure compliance and accurate record keeping. 

-   Support candidates as required post offer to ensure a seamless process to the point of start date when joining the organisation. 

-   Support with the obtaining of references for employees joining the business. 

-   Assist where appropriate with onboarding and induction processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company. 

-   Support Line Managers as required with the ordering new employees.   

-   Support as maybe required to source equipment via our IT provider and ensure timely arrangements. 

-   Right to work checks for both nationals and ensuring that non-UK members of the team provide the appropriate share codes to ensure compliance. 

-   Support as required with the sponsorship of candidates. 

HR Advisor: 

-   To deliver high quality, and comprehensive range of generalist HR services to management and staff.   

-   Provide professional advice and support internally and help managers interpretation of HR policies and procedures. 

-   Promote good employee relations, ensuring that legal obligations are maintained. 

-   To support as required with ER cases. 

-   Keep accurate records, including case files as required. 

-   Support with disciplinary and grievance procedures. To include coaching managers with investigations. 

-   To advise managers on sickness absence.  Including the updating and reporting of records as required.  

-   To provide and escalate where appropriate a support and advisory service on employee items. 

-   To assist managers with notetaking at meetings as required. 

-   Manage HR-related administrative tasks. 

-   Support with subject access requests in a timely manner. 

HR General Duties 

-   Support HR compliance and documentation, ensuring all employee records are maintained accurately. 

-   To produce documentation for employees related to meeting outcomes at meetings, roles changes, and all other forms of communications related to the employee lifecycle. 

-   Coordinate payroll data entry onto HRIS system and ad hoc records as required.   

-   Support with information to the payroll department in a timely manner for monthly payroll. 

-   Support with internal employee surveys. 

-   Help with employee engagement initiatives, to include organising company events and wellness programs. 

-   To update the HRIS portal to ensure real-time data and accurate record keeping. 

-   To support with audits to ensure employee compliance. 

Talent 

-   Support as required by the business  with the sourcing and recruitment of vacancies. 

-   Creation of job descriptions. 

-   Ensure that all internal approval flows are completed. 

-   Arrange and conduct interviews as and when required. 

-   Support with issuing of offer letters in order to commence the on-boarding process. 

-   Ensure compliance of all candidates during the employee life cycle. 

-   Attend recruitment events as required. 

-   Where necessary handle any administrative responsibilities related to talent, jobs boards, systems, etc.  

Additional Duties 

-   Achieve a paperless system where possible. 

-   Provide data as required internally and for external legal requirements. 

-   Attend meetings internally and externally in an Advisor capacity depending on the business needs. 

-   To support the HR Advisor and Talent Business Partner as required by the business. 

-   Any additional duties as may be required by the HR department. 

Skills & Qualifications: 

-   Experience of working in a HR administration/advisor role.  

-   CIPD or equivalent qualifications minimum level 3. 

-   Strong understanding of all HR disciplines. 

-   Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. 

-   To apply a self-learning attitude to keep skills relevant and updated. 

-   Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. 

-   To be a Champion for the organisation and positively promote diversity.
