You will work alongside an existing automation engineer, report to both a Product Manager and an Engineering Manager, and operate as a true business partner across operations teams, client portal teams, and tool vendors. This role is roughly 50 percent coordination and 50 percent development. You will communicate directly with specialists, clients, and vendors, own SOP creation, and monitor deployments proactively after they go live. If you are a forward-thinking RPA engineer who communicates relentlessly, takes full ownership of your work, and treats every project as your own rather than just closing tickets, this role is a strong fit. ### Why You'll Want to Join - You will be paid in **USD** (bi-monthly: every 15th and 30th) - **Paid Time Off** in accordance with company policy - Observance of **Holidays** per company guidelines - **100% remote setup** so you can work wherever you're most productive - This role requires availability during **US Eastern Time business hours** - Work directly with engineering and product leadership on automation projects with real operational impact - High-ownership role inside a fast-growing technology company with a collaborative, grit-driven culture ### What You'll Work On **Automation Development and Deployment** - Identify automation opportunities across operations teams targeting repetitive manual workflows - Build and deploy RPA bots to reduce manual workload across various internal and client-facing portals - Own the full automation process end to end including stakeholder communication, SOP creation, bot development, and post-production monitoring - Build from scratch on projects with limited prior documentation and manage ambiguity without hand-holding **Stakeholder Communication and Coordination** - Communicate directly with operations specialists who own the processes being automated - Coordinate with external client portal teams and tool vendors for feature requests, bug reports, and issue resolution - Over-communicate by default to keep all stakeholders aligned across a multi-stakeholder environment - Tailor updates to the right audience, providing root cause analysis, actions taken, and proposed next steps rather than flat status reports **Post-Production Monitoring and Reporting** - Monitor dashboards and bot performance daily even after project completion to catch post-production issues proactively - Flag issues to stakeholders immediately with context, root cause, what has already been done, and recommended next steps - Access and use analytics tools to support management-level reporting **Process Documentation** - Create and maintain SOPs for all automation workflows - Document bot logic, configurations, and vendor communications for future reference and handoff ### What You Bring - Proven RPA development experience with the ability to build and deploy bots independently - Experience with web crawler-based or similar RPA platforms with the ability to ramp up quickly from adjacent tool experience - Strong stakeholder communication skills with the ability to manage updates across multiple audiences simultaneously - Forward-thinking problem solver who provides root cause, trends, actions taken, and next steps in every update rather than just reporting status - Full ownership mentality with the ability to manage the entire automation lifecycle without being task-managed - Proactive by default: you monitor your work after delivery, flag issues before being asked, and treat post-production as part of the job - Comfortable working in a high-coordination, multi-stakeholder environment where communication is as important as technical delivery - Strong remote work discipline with the ability to maintain visibility and presence without being physically in an office ### Nice to Have - Experience with RPA platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, Blue Prism, or similar tools - Background working in a product-led or engineering-led startup environment - Experience raising and managing feature requests and bug reports directly with tool vendors - Prior experience working alongside other engineers or contractors in a collaborative remote setup - Exposure to operations-heavy industries such as healthcare, finance, or insurance ### How to Apply Please include: 1.
