## Description

**Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)**

**Location:** Florida  
**Work Setting:** Remote / Telehealth  
**Employment Type:** Full-Time  
**Salary:** $115,000–$120,000 per year + full benefits  
**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

We’re hiring a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide remote therapy services to clients in Florida. The focus of this position is direct client care, from the first assessment through ongoing treatment and progress review. You’ll meet with clients by video, identify the concerns they want to work on, establish treatment goals, and use appropriate counseling approaches throughout care. Clients may be seeking support for anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship concerns, stress, or other life challenges.

**Day-to-Day Responsibilities**

-   Conduct scheduled therapy sessions through telehealth
-   Assess client symptoms, strengths, needs, and treatment goals
-   Develop and update treatment plans
-   Use counseling methods appropriate to each client’s needs
-   Help clients develop practical strategies they can use outside of sessions
-   Complete clinical notes and required documentation
-   Review progress and make changes to treatment plans when needed
-   Respond appropriately to clinical risk and safety concerns
-   Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow Florida licensing requirements

## Requirements

-   Master’s degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field
-   Active LMHC license in Florida
-   Experience providing therapy in a clinical, outpatient, private practice, or telehealth setting
-   Strong understanding of clinical documentation and treatment planning
-   Comfortable working with clients through video-based care
-   Ability to manage a caseload independently
-   Reliable internet connection and a private workspace
