## Description

**Opportunity Type: Code Licensing / Revenue Opportunity**

**Location: Worldwide | Remote**

**Who Can Apply: Software Developers, Tech Founders, Engineering Teams & Code Owners**

We welcome submissions from individuals and organizations that own existing software repositories, including:

-   Abandoned startups and discontinued products with substantial codebases.
-   Personal projects and side projects that are no longer actively maintained.
-   Internal tools, utilities, and automation solutions developed for your own business.
-   Previous SaaS products, applications, and platforms that are no longer commercially active.
-   Other original software repositories with clear ownership and licensing rights.

Projects do not need to be commercially successful or currently maintained to be considered.

**How it works?**

-   Submit your repository for an initial assessment of its potential licensing value.
-   Receive an evaluation based on the codebase and the applicable acceptance criteria.
-   Explore licensing opportunities if your repository qualifies.
-   Get compensated according to the agreed licensing terms if a transaction is completed.

The evaluation and licensing process is designed to help code owners understand the potential value of their repositories without committing to a traditional development engagement.

**Compensation**

For standard **non-exclusive licensing**, current reference rates are:

-   **$100 per 1M source-code tokens**
-   **$40 per 1M Git-history tokens**

Each repository is assessed individually, and you can review the estimated value before deciding whether to move forward.

## Requirements

-   Software development experience or ownership of an existing software product, application, or repository.
    
-   Full ownership or legal rights to license the submitted source code.
    
-   Access to original code repositories, including discontinued products, abandoned projects, internal tools, or independently developed software.
    
-   Code must not include third-party material that you are not permitted to sublicense.
