## Description

### Job Purpose

The **Dietetic Associate Practitioner (DAP)** delivers high-quality, protocol-led nutrition and behaviour change support for adults living with obesity and related long-term conditions. Working under the supervision and delegation of a registered dietitian, the DAP provides structured patient education, routine follow-up, lifestyle coaching and monitoring within clearly defined clinical pathways, ensuring patients remain engaged and receive consistent, evidence-based care.

The role is primarily focused on supporting patients within the Wraparound pathway, where care centres on sustainable behaviour change rather than medication management or complex dietetic assessment. The DAP plays a key role in maintaining patient flow, identifying clinical or behavioural concerns that require escalation, and supporting safe, efficient service delivery through accurate documentation, adherence to approved protocols and close collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

By undertaking protocolised clinical and administrative activity, the role releases registered clinicians to focus on complex decision-making, supervision, governance and service development, supporting Roczen's ability to deliver safe, scalable digital care.

**3\. Documentation and Clinical Governance**

- Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical documentation for every patient interaction in line with professional, organisational and contractual standards.

- Adhere to all clinical governance, information governance, safeguarding and quality assurance processes.
- Participate in audits, competency reviews and quality improvement activities as required.

- Support efficient patient flow by undertaking delegated clinical and administrative activities within agreed pathways.
- Contribute to a positive team culture focused on continuous improvement, patient experience and operational excellence.

**5\. Professional Development**

- Complete all mandatory training and maintain competence within the DAP competency framework.
