## Description

**Pay:** $21.75 - $24.25 per hour

Scandi Haven assisted living is looking to hire or train a cook.

\`\`\`Duties\`\`\`  
\- Prepare and cook meals according to specified recipes and dietary restrictions  
\- Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner  
\- Monitor food quality and presentation  
\- Maintain inventory of food supplies and place orders as needed  
\- Collaborate with dietary staff to plan menus and ensure dietary requirements are met  
\- Assist with meal service and clean-up as needed

\`\`\`Requirements\`\`\`  
\- Previous experience in food production or culinary arts preferred  
\- Strong customer service skills  
\- Knowledge of kitchen operations and equipment  
\- Excellent time management skills  
\- Familiarity with assisted living or hospital food service regulations is a plus  
\- Ability to handle food safely and maintain a clean work environment  
\- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques
