## Description

Western Massachusetts Allergy, LLC is seeking a full-time Allergy Injection Nurse for our office in Springfield, MA. We are searching for a friendly candidate with the ability to work comfortably with adults and children, who is excited to help patients, able to work independently and as part of a team, and with a drive for continual improvement. The practice uses a modern, integrated EHR (eClinicalWorks) for all patient interactions, to maximize patient safety, automate repeated processes, facilitate communication, and reduce paperwork.

Primary Responsibilities

-   Administering allergy injections in a busy practice
-   Administering biologic therapies
-   Anticipate impending emergent situations and intervene effectively
-   Able to work independently and as part of a care team
-   Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff
-   Commitment to providing excellent patient care

Work Schedule

-   Monday–Friday • 8:30am–5:00pm four days per week; one evening day (10:00am–6:30pm) per week
-   No weekends

## Requirements

-   **Current nursing license required** (RN or LPN)
-   **At least two years of nursing experience required**
-   Allergy or immunology experience **strongly preferred**
-   Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) **strongly preferred**
-   Spanish language proficiency **strongly preferred** — candidates with demonstrated fluency will receive additional compensation incentives
-   Incentives for mixing allergy immunotherapy experience
-   CPR status up to date
-   Excellent attendance and work ethic
-   Positive attitude and desire to contribute to the success of the practice
-   Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, both written and spoken
-   Strong time management, technical, and organizational skills
-   Must demonstrate good computer skills and be able to embrace new technologies
