Reports to :Chief People Officer 

Contract type: Full-time, local contract 

Working pattern :Office-based, occasional evening/weekend coverage for events and campaigns 

**Purpose of the role** 

The Community Manager builds and animates DataOne's digital presence and professional community in their region. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the role owns social media channels, content calendars, and online engagement, positioning DataOne as a reference data center operator in its markets and supporting commercial and employer branding objectives, including recruitment campaigns for DataOne sites.

## Requirements

**Social media & content** 

-   Own and execute the regional social media strategy (LinkedIn as primary channel, plus X and Instagram as relevant). 

-   Build and maintain the editorial calendar: thought leadership, site milestones, event coverage, employer branding, and recruitment campaigns. 

-   Produce and adapt content (posts, visuals, short videos) in line with the DataOne brand guidelines and tone of voice. 

-   Coordinate with HQ communications to localize global campaigns for the regional market. 

**Community engagement** 

-   Monitor, moderate, and respond to comments, mentions, and direct messages within defined SLAs. 

-   Grow and animate the professional community: industry groups, partner ecosystems, and alumni/talent communities. 

-   Support online amplification of trade shows, conferences, and DataOne events in the region (live coverage, speaker promotion, post-event content). 

**Performance & governance** 

-   Track and report KPIs monthly: reach, engagement, follower growth, share of voice, and campaign conversion. 

-   Conduct social listening and competitive benchmarking; escalate reputational risks per the crisis communication procedure. 

-   Ensure compliance with local media regulations, client confidentiality, and site security constraints (no unauthorized imagery of critical infrastructure). 

**Experience & education** 

-   3–5 years of experience in community management or digital communications, ideally in B2B technology, infrastructure, or real estate. 

-   Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field. 

-   Solid understanding of the regional business and media landscape. 

**Skills** 

-   Native-level English copywriting; French is a strong plus for coordination with HQ 

-   Hands-on command of LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Business Suite, and scheduling/analytics tools (Hootsuite, Sprout, or equivalent). 

-   Solid design and video basics (Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut or equivalent); comfortable briefing agencies for larger productions. 

-   Data-driven mindset: comfortable building KPI dashboards and translating analytics into editorial decisions. 

**Soft skills** 

-   Autonomous and organized; able to run a multi-market calendar with minimal supervision. 

-   Strong editorial judgment and discretion, given the sensitivity of data center operations. 

-   Collaborative, responsive, and comfortable in a fast-moving, multicultural environment.
