Hi there!

We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join one of our U.S. clients. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations and play a key role in financial reporting, reconciliations, and close activities across a dynamic and high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with month-end close processes, account reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and preparation of supporting workpapers, ideally within multi-entity and multi-currency environments.

This position will work closely with Senior Accountants and the Finance team to ensure accurate financial records, strong financial controls, and compliance with applicable accounting standards. It is an excellent opportunity for accounting professionals looking to deepen their expertise and grow into a Senior Accountant role over time.

### **Responsibilities**

-   Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements in accordance with IFRS and/or US GAAP.
-   Participate in the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of accounting activities.
-   Prepare and maintain account reconciliations, including balance sheet accounts, accruals, prepaids, and supporting schedules.
-   Record and review journal entries and maintain proper accounting documentation.
-   Support the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting.
-   Prepare workpapers and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
-   Assist with variance analysis and financial reporting activities.
-   Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
-   Support tax-related activities, including preparation of accounting data for filings and reporting.
-   Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance team members to drive accuracy and alignment across reporting processes.
-   Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and internal control initiatives.
-   Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen accounting operations.

## Requirements

**Requirements**

-   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
-   3-4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit.
-   Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
-   Strong willingness to learn and develop technical accounting skills.
-   Experience in fast‑growing or multinational environments is a plus.
-   Exposure to revenue recognition concepts (e.g., ASC 606)

**Technical & Professional Skills**

-   Basic knowledge of IFRS/GAAP principles.
-   Familiarity with accounting systems or ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage Intacct) is a plus.
-   Intermediate Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
-   Good organizational and time‑management skills.
-   Effective written and verbal communication skills.
-   Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently on assigned tasks.
-   Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
