## Description

**Manual Machinist (Temp-to-Hire)**

**Location:** New Iberia, LA 70560

**Pay:** $28-$32 DOE

**Shift:** 7am-4pm M-F, O-T as needed (40-70 hrs/ week)

Candidate should have experience with:

-   VTL
-   Manual Lathe
-   Drill Press
-   Bridgeport Knee Mill
-   Horizontal Boring Mill (48x30" BT 50 Holder)
-   Experience with compressor component repairs and overhauls a plus
-   Must be able to create own set up
-   Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
-   Proficient in the use of measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
-   Ability to work in metric a plus​
-   Have own tools a plus but not required
-   Adhere to company safety policies and industry standards to promote a safe working environment.
-   Background check and drug screen required
