Job responsibilities:  
\- Provide expert legal advice and guidance on compliance matters to ensure the company adheres to all applicable laws and regulations.  
\- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs and policies to mitigate legal risks and enhance operational efficiency.  
\- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.  
\- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business operations with legal and regulatory requirements.  
\- Monitor changes in legislation and industry standards, and update company policies accordingly.  
\- Manage and oversee internal investigations related to compliance breaches and report findings to senior management.  
\- Prepare and deliver training sessions to employees on legal and compliance topics to promote awareness and understanding.  
\- Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies as necessary to address complex legal matters.  
  
Job requirements:  
\- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.  
\- Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal and compliance roles, preferably within a corporate environment.  
\- Strong knowledge of corporate law, regulatory compliance, and industry-specific regulations.  
\- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.  
\- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  
\- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.  
\- High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.  
\- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
