### Interventional Cardiologist

**Board Certified / Board Eligible**

### Position Summary

A well-established cardiovascular practice is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join a growing, multidisciplinary cardiac team. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient care, and interventional procedures within a comprehensive cardiovascular program that includes advanced clinical services and an active research environment.

### Responsibilities

-   Provide outpatient clinic care, inpatient rounding, and interventional procedures
-   Utilize advanced cardiac support devices, including **Impella**, **intra-aortic balloon pumps**, and **temporary pacemakers**
-   Participate in a high-volume interventional practice performing approximately **125–150 diagnostic and interventional procedures per month**
-   Support and participate in specialized therapies for patients with refractory angina, including **Enhanced External Counterpulsation (EECP)**
-   Engage in clinical research and participation in cardiovascular clinical trials
-   Share call responsibilities equally within the group, including a **1:4 weekend call rotation**
-   Participate in resident and/or trainee education as applicable
-   Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team with dedicated **Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support**

## Requirements

### Certifications & Licensure

-   **Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology**
-   Active state medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
-   AHA-approved **BLS** certification

### Required Education

-   Successful completion of an **ACGME-accredited residency program**
-   Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology
