## Description

We are seeking a Compliance, AML & Responsible Gaming Lead to support our growing Brazilian operations. This role combines strategic and hands-on compliance responsibilities with team leadership, overseeing a team of four Junior Analysts.

The Lead will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening our Integrity Program in Brazil, covering AML/CFT, Responsible Gaming, Sports Integrity, Corporate Compliance, and Risk Management, while ensuring alignment with applicable Brazilian regulatory requirements.

The role will report to a Senior Manager, with a dotted-line relationship to one of Foggo’s Statutory Directors, and will act as a key point of contact with regulatory authorities, including SPA/MF and COAF.

**What You’ll Do**

-   Compliance & Integrity Program: Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Brazil Integrity Program, including policies, procedures, controls, workflows, and compliance indicators.
-   AML/CFT: Oversee the effectiveness of the KYC/EDD framework, transaction monitoring, PEP and sanctions screening, risk assessments, investigations, and suspicious activity reporting to COAF, in line with Brazilian regulations and FATF/GAFI principles.
-   Responsible Gaming: Monitor and continuously improve Responsible Gaming initiatives, including self-exclusion, self-limitation, behavioral monitoring, and protocols for protecting at-risk players, with a focus on customer support and response times.
-   Sports Integrity: Oversee processes for identifying potential match-fixing and suspicious betting activity, working with relevant providers such as Sportradar and Betby and coordinating responses to incidents.
-   Regulatory Compliance: Represent Foggo in interactions with SPA/MF and other relevant regulatory bodies, ensuring clear, timely, and effective communication.
-   Audits & Assessments: Lead and support regulatory checks, internal reviews, audits, and compliance assessments, ensuring appropriate documentation and evidence are maintained.
-   Training & Awareness: Develop, update, and deliver compliance and integrity training programs for internal and external stakeholders.
-   Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Legal, P&P, Product, Payments, Fraud, Operations, and other teams to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are effectively embedded across the business.
-   Risk Management: Identify compliance and integrity risks, recommend mitigation measures, and monitor the effectiveness of implemented controls.
-   Reporting & Metrics: Develop and monitor compliance KPIs and management reports, providing clear insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
-   Automation & Controls: Support and/or oversee the automation of compliance controls and reporting using BI, SQL, or other technology solutions.
-   Regulatory Updates: Stay up to date with changes in Brazilian gaming, AML/CFT, Responsible Gaming, and broader regulatory requirements, assessing their potential impact on the business.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
-   Advanced/Business English, both written and verbal, is required. Spanish is a plus.
-   A postgraduate degree or MBA in Compliance, Risk, or a related field is a plus. Professional certifications such as CCEP, CAMS/ACAMS, or similar credentials are highly valued.
-   Proven experience in Compliance within the Brazilian gaming/iGaming sector or another highly regulated industry. Strong experience in AML/CFT, KYC, regulatory compliance, or financial crime prevention is required.
-   Proven experience managing teams and working effectively with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions.
-   Solid knowledge of Brazilian regulatory frameworks related to AML/CFT, KYC, Corporate Compliance, Integrity, and Regulatory Compliance. Knowledge of Responsible Gaming, Privacy, and/or Sports Integrity is a strong advantage.
-   Familiarity with Brazilian online gaming licensing processes and regulatory reporting requirements, including interactions with SPA/MF and COAF.
-   Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills. Familiarity with BI, SQL, compliance monitoring, or case management tools is a plus.

**Nice-to-Haves (Advantages)**

-   Previous experience in Brazilian iGaming, online betting, gaming, payments, fintech, banking, or another highly regulated industry.
-   Experience with Responsible Gaming and player protection frameworks.
-   Experience with Sports Integrity and suspicious betting/match-fixing monitoring.
-   Knowledge of Sportradar, Betby, or similar integrity and monitoring providers.
-   Experience with BI/SQL and automation of compliance controls.
-   Professional certifications such as CAMS/ACAMS, CCEP, or similar.
