## Description

Prestage Farms is looking for enthusiastic and detail oriented _**Entry-Level Mechanics**_ to join our team for our night shift. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining both gas and diesel vehicles, to ensure that they are fully functional. This position requires a person that has good eye-hand coordination with excellent problem-solving abilities; as well as, knowledgeable in electronical and mechanical systems.

**Responsibilities**

-   Diagnose and repair of general automotive gasoline and diesel vehicles.
-   Preventive maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, engine tune ups, etc.
-   Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical problems
-   Must be able to work independently and maintain a safe and orderly work area.
-   Maintain and repair vehicles in a timely manner.
-   Follow company policies and procedures for vehicle repairs and safety.

## Requirements

-   High school Diploma or GED
-   Previous experience in automotive repair or related field is a plus.
-   Basic understanding of automotive systems and mechanical repairs.
-   Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills in automotive repair.

-   The ability to write, read, count, add, subtract, and apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
-   Must possess a valid NC class C driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
-   minimum age of 18
-   must be able to lift/move materials/equipment's up to 90lbs.
-   Strong work ethnic and reliability.
