**Job Role:** SEO and Affiliates Specialist

**Compensation range:** $2,000 AUD - $2,500 AUD / Monthly

**Engagement type:** Independent Contractor Agreement

**Work Schedule:** This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

**Role Overview:** The SEO and Affiliates Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the brand’s organic search and affiliate marketing channels to drive sustainable growth and revenue. Reporting to the Marketing Manager and Assistant Digital Marketing Manager, this role will bring SEO and affiliate activities in-house, ensuring best practice execution aligned with a direct-to-consumer retail environment. The position requires a hands-on specialist who is confident in owning strategy and execution, with a strong understanding of e-commerce SEO and performance-based partnerships.

**Key Responsibilities:** 

-   Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic visibility, traffic, and conversion performance.
-   Conduct keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO improvements across the website.
-   Monitor site performance, rankings, and SEO health, implementing continuous improvements.
-   Collaborate with content and marketing teams to align SEO with brand messaging and campaigns.
-   Manage and grow the affiliate marketing program, including onboarding partners and maintaining relationships.
-   Identify, recruit, and negotiate with affiliate partners, influencers, and publishers.
-   Track and analyze affiliate performance, optimizing campaigns to maximize ROI.
-   Ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and attribution across SEO and affiliate channels.
-   Stay up to date with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and affiliate marketing best practices.
-   Provide regular reporting and insights to internal stakeholders on channel performance and opportunities.

## Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

-   2+ years of proven experience in SEO and affiliate marketing, ideally within a fashion, retail, or direct-to-consumer brand.
-   Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimization, and content strategy.
-   Experience managing affiliate platforms and partnerships.
-   Proficiency in SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar).
-   Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
-   Strong understanding of e-commerce performance metrics and customer acquisition channels.
-   Good communication and collaboration skills.
-   Self-driven and confident in managing channels independently.
-   High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

**Work Arrangement & Expectations:**

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
