## Description

Texas Sports Academy is a K-12 school designed for serious student-athletes who want both elite academics and high-level athletic development. Students cover 2x the material in just 2 hours a day, using the same 2-Hour Learning model as Alpha Schools. That frees up their entire afternoon for serious training, where they work alongside former pro and D1 athletes coaching them at the highest standard.

We're hiring a fully remote ADHD Specialist to support students with different learning needs so they can continue to make strong academic progress. This role is 100% virtual. You will work directly with students over video from wherever you are based in the U.S., helping them get the structure and strategies they need to stay on track in the classroom while training at a high level in their sport. We are looking for someone with substantive experience supporting students who have ADHD or executive function challenges.

### What You'll Do

- Executive Function Coaching: Work one-on-one with students on time management, task initiation, planning, and self-monitoring. Build systems that fit each student's brain, not generic checklists.
- Individual Student Support: Meet regularly with each student on your caseload over video to work through academic challenges, build routines, and problem-solve in real time.
- Small-Group Sessions: Run focused group sessions on study skills, organization, and academic habits when patterns show up across multiple students.
- Partner With Guides and Coaches: Collaborate with academic guides and athletic coaches so support is consistent across a student's day, not siloed to your sessions.
- Parent Communication: Send regular updates to parents on strategies, progress, and areas of growth. Loop them in early when something isn't working.
- Platform Support: Help students set up and navigate the learning platforms so the tools support their focus instead of fighting it.

## Requirements

- Direct Experience With ADHD Students: You've worked with students who have ADHD or executive function challenges and can point to specific examples of how you helped them build skills that stuck.
- Coaching Approach That Works: You've built routines and systems with students that survived past the first two weeks. You know how to adapt when a strategy stops working.
- Strong Listening and Communication: You meet students where they are, adjust your approach to each one, and can explain what you're doing to parents and staff in plain language.
- Comfortable in an Athletic Environment: You understand the demands of competitive youth athletics and can build trust with student-athletes who are already managing a lot.
- Bachelor's Degree: In education, psychology, special education, or a related field.
- Location: Remote (U.S.)

### Bonus Points

- Virtual Experience With Kids: You've coached, tutored, or supported students in a fully remote setting and know how to keep engagement high through a screen.
- Executive Function Certification or Training: Formal training in executive function coaching or a related methodology.
- Background in Sports or Athletics: Personal or professional experience in competitive athletics.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish): Ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking families.
